Thermo coupler design for Gas heaters Outdoor heaters Gold plated, connectors inside. Thermocouple and switch are used to solve the problem that the indicator light is not on. Control Valve recommend having thread tape in order to make sure there are no leaks If your original thermocouple has a threaded body and is fixed to the heater by a pair of nuts. The product has a smooth (unthreaded) body that is tapered with a notch at the bottom to be pressed into the mounting hole and the notch holds it in place. If not suitable for your mounting hole; Use a bit of drill bit to enlarge the hole and let it slide in. A small amount of heat-resistant epoxy resin can be used to help stabilize.
