Bluetooth 3.0 Type Connection to Android Phones
First make sure the scanner was connected to your car and ignition on. And turn on Bluetooth function on your phone to find and connect the "OBDII" device as photo steps.
Connect to Diagnosis Software
Take Torque for example, in settings set the connection type to bluetooth and go connecting as photo showing, if phone bluetooth connected, this will be an easy step.

This Bluetooth ELM327 is based on firmware V2.1, it does not support J1850VPW and J1850PWM, it works as below:

European: after 2006 years
Asian: after 2008 years
Russian Cars: after 2012 years
