Pixco GE-1 AF Confirm Lens Mount Adapter - Suit For Canon FD Mount Lens to Suit for Canon EOS Camera
Feature: The GE-1 AF Confirm Lens Adapter – For Canon FD Mount Lens to Suit for Canon EOS camera body. Besides for making financial sense, this allows you to use your favorite lens across different camera platforms. The all-metal adapter is designed to fit the lens securely, yet can still be removed easily when not needed. It gives you confirmation signal in viewfinder once you focus objective accurately. Allows adjust aperture & focal length, EXIF is 1mm-65535mm, f1.1-f64. Programming setting: 1. Set the maximum aperture on lens. 2. Set the desired aperture on camera. 3. Focus and meter the object, when focus is achieved. 4. Set the lens aperture to the same desired aperture as the camera setting. 5. Press shutter button and take the picture. The ring has THREE setting modes: Mode 0- enter lens’ maximum aperture. Mode 1- enter lens’ focal length. Mode 2- enter lens’ focus micro adjustment. Turn the aperture dial to specific aperture value and press shutter button to enter a desired setting mode. Note: Although can be attached physically, automatic diaphragm, auto-focusing, and other functions do not operate correctly while using this adapter. You need to use the stop-down mode when metering since the lens does not have the ability to have its aperture controlled by the camera body. The added microchip (or dandelion chip) enables the focusing confirmation function with EOS Digital bodies, which helps you to focus even in the dark. You can shoot in manual or aperture priority mode.
