This Infrared filter is suitable for low latitudes and strong light use. This IR filter can block all visible light under 850 nm, therefore lets you experience some different photography.

1000nm is suitable for low latitudes and strong light use.
950nm is suitable for outdoor and strong light use.
850nm is suitable for indoor and weak light use.
760nm is suitable when at dawn or under faint light.
720nm is suitable for ordinary DC/DV/DSLR cameras.

1. You'd better remove the IR-blocking filters in front of CCD or CMOS sensor when using IR filters
2. Setting the white balance
3. If you don't want to do any transformation on your device, you can do some post processing after shooting achieve the IR effect.
