there are a water collecting area on top. you must put timer on outdoors. timer will stop immediately when raining. and it will not work untill next running time after water collecting area is dry.

(For Easy LCD Electronic Water Timer with Solar and Rain Stop function)

The water timer can replace the function of traditional knob water timer, easily operation with LCD display to show the state of water timer. Extra solar and rain stop function can help you take care of your garden better.

Please stall the water timer with water faucet and the water tube directly. Make sure the water faucet is connected with the top of the water timer and the infall of water tube is connected with the bottom tube of the water timer. Don’t covert.

C. Battery Installation

1.       Open the transparent cover.

2.       Unscrew and pull the battery compartment out of the timer.

3.       Please use two alkaline batteries or two full 1.2V~1.5V Ni-MH rechargeable batteries. Before you install two batteries, place cloth or use your hand to cover the solar panel.

4.       Please use 2*AA alkaline battery to test this timer. Please be noted that water timer will rotate automatically to check if the valve is off when batteries are just inserted. (LCD will display ).

D. Solar Function

You can use the water timer to charge the new rechargeable battery by the solar panel on the timer, but please make sure to put it under the sunlight for 3days at least. Usually, the new rechargeable battery is without any power, the batteries must be fully charged for the first time use; otherwise, timer will not work.

E. Electricity saving function (Sleeping mode)

If there is not any operating within 30 or 60 seconds, water timer will be in sleeping mode (electricity saving mode). Press the third key (WAKE UP), then you can continue setting the water timer. (Sleeping mode only make the LCD stops displaying to save the electricity, water timer is still running.)

F. Time Mode Setting Operation Steps

After installed the batteries, please follow the steps to set up the time mode and auto-run the water timer.

[Simple Periodically Watering Setting Mode]

01.   Start setting the time mode while LCD display

Press the 1^st key (FREQ). LCD will display , blink. (Water timer is in setting mode.)

02. Choose the time interval of periodically watering.

 Press the 1^st key (FREQ) continually to choose one time interval you like. LCD will display , blink all the time. And the number of minute, hour or day will be changing accordingly. There are 16 kinds of time intervals in the system which you can choose.

Time interval: 1min. 5min. 10min. 15min. 30min. 1hour 2hour 3hour 4hour 6hour 8hour 12hour 1day 2days 3days 7days.

03.   Choose the running time.

Press the 2^nd key (RUN TIME) continually to choose one time interval you like. LCD will display , blink all the time. And the number of second, minute or hour will be changing accordingly. There are 16 kinds of running time in the system which you can choose.

Running time: 10sec. 20sec. 30sec. 45sec. 1min. 2min. 3min. 5min. 10min. 15min. 20min. 30min. 45min. 1hour 1.5 hour 2hours

04.   Run the watering time mode.

Press the 5^th key (AUTO). LCD will display . You can see the time counting down automatically.

EXAMPLE: If you want the timer to water your garden 3 minutes in 12 hours.

Steps: Press the 1^st key (FREQ) once to start setting the time mode, then press the 1^st key (FREQ) 12 times to choose the time interval (Display 0 12:00 00). Press the 2^nd key (RUN TIME) 7 times to choose the watering time (Display 00:03 00). At last, press the 5^th key (AUTO) to finish the setting and run the watering timer automatically. LCD will display  and the time will count down automatically from 0 12:00 00.

[Self-defined Periodically Watering Setting Mode]

01.   Start setting the time mode.

Please Press the 5^th key (SET). LCD will display , blink. (Water timer is in setting mode.)

02. Self-defined the time interval of periodically watering.

 001. Press the 4^th key (ENTER) once to start self-defined the day in the watering time periodically.

LCD will display , day blink.

002. Press the 1^st key (-) or 2^nd key ( + ) continually to choose the day number between 0 to 9.

003. Press the 4^th key (ENTER) again to start self-defined the hour in the watering time periodically.

LCD will display , hour blink.

    004. Press the 1^st key (-) or 2^nd key ( + ) continually to choose the hour number between 0 to 23.

005. Press the 4^th key (ENTER) again to start self-defined the minute in the watering time periodically.

LCD will display , minute blink.

    006. Press the 1^st key (-) or 2^nd key ( + ) continually to choose the minute number between 0 to 59.

007. Press the 4^th key (ENTER) again to start self-defined the second in the watering time periodically.

LCD will display , second blink.

008. Press the 1^st key (-) or 2^nd key ( + ) continually to choose the second number between 0 to 59.

009. Press the 5^th key (EXIT) once to finish the setting of time interval. LCD will display , blink.

Time interval can be any time within 10days.

03. Self-defined the running time.

001. Press the 1^st key (FREQ) or 2^nd key (RUN TIME) once to start self-defined the running time.

 LCD will display , blink.

    002. Press the 4^th key (ENTER) once to start self-defined the hour in the watering time periodically.

LCD will display , hour blink.

003. Press the 1^st key (-) or 2^nd key ( + ) continually to choose the hour number between 0 to 99.

004. Press the 4^th key (ENTER) again to start self-defined the minute in the watering time periodically.

LCD will display , minute blink.

    005. Press the 1^st key (-) or 2^nd key ( + ) continually to choose the minute number between 0 to 59.

006. Press the 4^th key (ENTER) again to start self-defined the second in the watering time periodically.

LCD will display , second blink.

    007. Press the 1^st key (-) or 2^nd key ( + ) continually to choose the second number between 0 to 59.

008. Press the 5^th key (EXIT) to finish the setting of running time. LCD will display , blink.

Running time can be any time within 100hours.

04. Run the watering time mode.

Press the 5^th key (AUTO). LCD will display . You can see the time counting down.

EXAMPLE: If you want the timer to water your garden 20 seconds in 2 days and 22 hours.

Steps: Press the 5^th key (SET) once to start setting the time mode, press the 4^th key (ENTER) once to start self-defined day setting. Press the 2^nd key ( + ) twice (display 2 00:00 00). Press the 4^th key (ENTER) again to start self-defined hour setting, then press 2^nd key ( + ) 22 times (Display 2 22:00 00). Press the 5^th key (EXIT) to finish your periodically time interval setting. Press the 1^st key (FREQ) or the 2^nd key (RUN TIME) once to start setting the running time and press the 4^th key (ENTER) thrice to start self-defined running second, then press 2^nd key ( + )20 times (display 00:00 20). At last, press the 5^th key (EXIT) to finish the setting and press 5^th key (AUTO) again to run the watering timer automatically. LCL will display  and the time will count down from 2 22:00 00.

NOTE: THE WATER TIMER WILL AUTORUN THE LAST WATERING TIME MODE YOU SETTED.

G. Run Once Function

After setting the periodically time mode, you can choose run once function by press the 3^rd key (RUN ONCE) when you need. Then, the timer will water only once according to the current timer mode. LCD will display  and time counting down as usual.

The timer won’t water again unless you press the 3^rd key (RUN ONCE) again to cancel the run once function.

Note: The timer will count down periodically as per timer mode during run once function, but just watering once.

H. Manual open and close

01. Press the 4^th key (OPEN), the water valve will open, LCD will display --:-- -- .

02. Press the 4^th key (CLOSE) again, the water valve will close, LCD will display --:-- -- and  disappeared.

All setting stops working now. You must press 5^th key (EXIT) back to autorun mode, LCD will display .

I. Rain Stop Function

There are two metal slips (water collecting area) on the top. Put the water timer outdoors, the timer will stop watering when raining until next running time after the water collecting area is dry.

J. Battery Low Power

If batteries are low power. LCD will display . When  is appearing, the electricity saving function will stop and LCD will bright all the time. Please change the batterie
