2xz Series rotary vane vacuum pump is double stage high speed oil sealed rotary vane vacuum pump.Its pumping principle is as same as that of 2X type pump .Rotors are eccentrically mounted within the cylindrical housing of the stators and vanes are fitted freely inside the respective slots of the rotor.   

2xz Series pump is equipped with gas-ballast valve. Its function is to fill the exhaust space with certain amount of air ,when the valve is open ,so to reduce the proportion of the partial pressure of vapor in the total discharge pressure . 

2xz Series pump has the outstanding achievements of small size, less weigh ,quiet operation and easy to start .Besides devices to prevent from sucking back of oil and leakage of oil from axle sealing to contaminate environment are also provided. 

Field of Application :

1) The pump is one of the basic equipments to exhaust a sealed vessel. 

2) The pump is allowed to work continuously for many hours at a stretch under atmospheric temperature of 5 degree-40 degree and intake pressure below 1230pa.While the pumped gas containing moisture of a relative humidity of more than 90% gas-ballast valve should be open. 

3) Whit the inlet port widely opened to atmosphere the pump is not allowed to work more than one minute. 

4) The pump is not suitable for pumping over-oxidized, poison, explosive and corrosive gas as well as gases which react chemically with the pump oil contain particles of dust.

Parameter data:

1. Ensure the clearness of the pump and target medium. Particles are not allowed.

2. Keep the oil level.

3. Getting water or volatile substances into pump body will affect its ultimate vacuum. In that case, open up gas ballast valve and clean it out. And observe ultimate vacuum for hours, if it is still in vain, change pump oil and change again when necessary. Oil changing method: let the pump runs for about half an hour so that oil would get thinner and then shut down the pump and discharge the oil through oil outlet. Open the air inlet and runs the pump for about 10~20 minutes, during the same period, add a small amount of clean pump oil through air inlet slowly to change the storing oil inside the pump. The oil that comes out of the pump will be very dirty. So you can repeat the operation.

4. To avoid lowering ultimate vacuum, please don’t mix saturated big vapor pressure oil such as diesel oil, petrol oil into pump.

5. Clean up the pump accessories with gauze. When it is to clean up harmful material, metal fragment or sand and mud, you can use petrol to wrap it up and reassemble when it is dry. But please remember not to immerse pump parts into petrol.

6. When it is necessary to disassemble the pump, please read the instruction carefully.

Disassemble instructions:

1. Release oil.

2. Unscrew the bolt on flange of air inlet, and take out the air inlet, likewise, get the gas ballast valve out.

3. Disassemble oil tank.

4. Remove check valve’s split pin, and then the impeller of check valve.

5. Remove the connecting bolt of base and pump, disassemble the pump parts.

6. Unfasten the bolt of pump cover, remove the cover and pull out two rotor and rotary vane. When removing the lower rotor, unfasten the split pin first.

Re-assemble instructions:

1. Wipe up accessories and pump parts with gauze in case waste chock the oil hole. It is better to clean them up with cleaning solution and brush.

2. Re-assemble the rotary-vane into rotor slot, and install higher stage rotor into stator, which is pump body. Install L high stage pump cover, split pin, bolts, key and coupling. Screw tight with hand.

3. Install lower rotor as above.

4. Install check valve and other accessories.

5. And then air evacuation valve, oil baffle, pump body, key, coupling, motor, oil tank, oil inlet, gas ballast valve and flange.

Notice:

1. During re-assemble process, please apply clean vacuum oil onto the surface of friction surface.

2. Please remember how pump part is put together originally.

3. Fastening pieces shall be unmovable.
