TDA7498 is the market's first rated power 100W+100W amplifier, using the support of monolithic integrated analog, logic and high voltage function of the advanced sixth generation BCD6S process (bipolar /CMOS/DMOS).
Compared with other class D amplifiers, the ST process of the BCD6S achieves a higher energy efficiency ratio of the chip area, while also reducing the crosstalk and improving the sound quality.
In addition, the BCD6S allows the integration of NMOS and PMOS complementary transistors in a high power output circuit, eliminating the need for an external bootstrap capacitor and cathode load diode.
This method simplifies the design, saves the board space, improves the reliability of the product design, and optimizes the material cost.
