Close Up Lens pro Kit

The NiSi Close Up Lens Kit turns your prime or telephoto lenses in the 70mm to 300mm focal range into a macro lens. Take incredibly high detailed images with macro magnification of 1:1 @ 200mm with varying degrees of magnification based on your focal length and focusing distance. The Close Up Lens screws onto your 77mm lens thread or can be adapted to suit 67mm and 72mm with the supplied adaptors.

How the Close Up Lens works

The NiSi Close Up Lens can make a telephoto lens function as a macro lens with a large working distance. The close-up lens is the most effective way to achieve a closer minimal focal distance. The magnification achieved depends on the focal range of lenses. It will be higher with longer focal lengths. To use the NiSi Close Up Lens it is important to know the minimum and maximum distances at which you can focusas you will only be able to take a properly focused image within that range. The magnification will be close to 1:1 when you focus at 200mm. The working focus distance is between 22cm – 30cm with recommended apertures between f/8 – f/16.
